Our Purpose

This site provides compatibility analysis grounded in scientific psychological research and statistical data. Rather than relying on intuition or fortune-telling, we base our assessments on evidence from peer-reviewed academic papers.

Why the Big Five?

The Big Five (Five-Factor Model) is the most widely validated and replicated personality model in modern personality psychology. Its consistent structure has been confirmed across cultures and languages, and it has been used in thousands of studies.

Unlike other personality assessments (blood type, horoscopes, etc.), the Big Five was derived through scientific factor analysis and its predictive validity has been repeatedly demonstrated.

Privacy Commitment

All diagnostic processing on this site is completed entirely in your browser, and running the assessment sends none of your input to our servers. Your input is stored only in your browser (on your device) so you do not have to re-enter it on a return visit, and it can be deleted at any time with the Reset button on the form. If you create a share link for your result, the result data is included in the link URL.

Disclaimer

The results of this analysis are reference information based on psychological research findings. They do not guarantee the success or failure of any individual relationship. Relationships are determined by many factors beyond personality traits, including communication, values, environment, and effort.

How the content is written and checked

The articles and glossary entries on this site are written by the operator after checking peer-reviewed research papers and official statistics as primary sources. When a research finding is introduced, we check who the study examined and what it measured, and we keep the wording within what the study supports. Published pages are reread, and when an error or an outdated statement is found, the text is corrected and the date of the correction is shown on the article.

Bibliographic details for the main studies we cite are collected in the references on the Methodology page. If you notice an error in our wording, please let us know through the contact page.
